UFC announces London return for ‘prime time’ Fight Night card in March

The UFC has heard the fans after a late-night pay-per-view in Manchester in July, and will return to London for a Fight Night show on prime time for European fans on March 22, the company announced Tuesday.

UFC London will take place at the O2 Arena, but the promotion has yet to announce who will meet in the main event.

The UFC has held four events in the London arena since the COVID-19 pandemic, a pair of trips in 2022 and 2023 each, with local stars emerged victorious in all but one of the shows.

Tom Aspinall defeated both Marcin Tybura and Alexander Volkov with quick finishes, but suffered a knee injury seconds into his clash with Curtis Blaydes. Aspinall now holds the UFC interim heavyweight title.

The other main event victory came by the hands of Leon Edwards, successfully defending his welterweight title in a trilogy match with Kamaru Usman at UFC 286.
