UFC Bantamweight Reveals Unique Dana White-Inspired Tattoo

This newly signed Ultimate Fighting Championship fighter will have the words of its president on his body for life.

Recent 135-pound pickup Hecher Sosa (13-1), who earned a contract off his Sept. 16 victory on Dana White’s Contender Series over Macksom Lee, received an unusual note from President and CEO Dana White after his match. Sosa’s father had died shortly before the bout, and White personally went to Sosa after the performance to offer praise and condolences, and gave him the note in question.

“Be the f—ing reason your last name means something one day,” the UFC chief wrote.

Winner of 10 straight—plus an illegitimate match under the Hombres de Honor umbrella where promoter Chinto Mordillo also served as its referee—Sosa soars into the organization as another Spanish fighter to watch. “Guanche Warrior” went 5-for-5 in the confines of The Way of the Warrior cage in 2024 and 2025, picking up five stoppages to get a spot on the Contender Series.

From One Canvas to Another

To celebrate this message, as well as his triumph, Sosa had the note from his boss tattooed on his skin. Posting the image on social media along with a photo of his tattoo artist, Mangue, he also included a caption written in Spanish.

“A message that resonates deeply with my heart and with all my fans,” Sosa wrote, via Google Translate.” A moment I’ll never forget, both good and bad, etched in my skin and in my heart.”
