Former UFC and Combate Americas bantamweight competitor Erik Perez has signed a multi-fight deal with Bellator MMA.
Sherdog.com confirmed the deal with promotion officials on Tuesday. A date and opponent for Perez’s promotional debut has not been determined.
Perez is coming off a two-fight stint in Combate Americas, where he earned finishes of Andres Ayala and D.J. Fuentes. Prior to that, the Monterrey, Mexico, native went 7-2 in the Octagon from 2012 to 2016.
“El Goyito” is 19-6 over the course of his professional career, with 13 triumphs coming by way of knockout, technical knockout or submission.
