Anthony Pettis and Donald Cerrone first shared the Octagon over seven years ago at UFC on FOX 6.
Roufusport product and final WEC lightweight champ Pettis had won his previous two UFC fights after a debut loss scuttled a title shot. “Cowboy,” meanwhile, was looking to steal that opportunity after picking up back-to-back victories over Jeremy Stephens and Melvin Guillard.
In the end, it was “Showtime” at the United Center in Chicago.
Before Pettis and Cerrone have their long awaited rematch at UFC 249 on May 9, check out a free video of their first encounter above, courtesy of the UFC.
