The upcoming UFC Macau card scheduled on Nov. 23 in China has added several new fights to join the main event with ex-champions Petr Yan and Deiveson Figueiredo meeting in a five-round bantamweight showdown.
Also on the card, light heavyweights Volkan Oezdemir and Carlos Ulberg face off after both fighters picked up first-round knockouts in recent appearances. Oezdemir put away Johnny Walker with a brutal finish in less than three minutes back in June and Ulberg needed just 12 seconds to dispatch Alonzo Menifield in May.
Both fighters earned a Performance of the Night bonus and now they meet in a pivotal matchup at 205 pounds in November.
Also on the card, recent strawweight title challenger Yan Xiaonan returns to action against Tabatha Ricci.
Yan came up short in her bid to become champion after going five rounds with Zhang Weili back at UFC 300, while Ricci is coming off two straight wins including a decision over veteran strawweight Angela Hill in August.
Welterweights Song Kenan and Muslim Salikhov are also scheduled to clash at the upcoming UFC Macau card, while Wang Cong looks to build on a stunning debut where she scored a vicious first-round knockout of Victoria Leonardo, and next faces Gabriella Fernandes in a flyweight matchup.
Road to UFC veteran Zhang Mingyang also fights on the card against Ozzy Diaz at light heavyweight.
Lone’er Kavanagh meets Jose Ochoa and Nyamjargal Tumendemberel faces Carlos Hernandez, with both fights taking place at flyweight.
More fights are expected to be added to the UFC Macau card in the coming weeks.
