Jasmine Jasudavicius could be on the verge of big things in the Ultimate Fighting Championship’s flyweight division.

The surging Canadian will take a five-bout winning streak into a showdown with Manon Fiorot at UFC Vancouver on Oct. 18. MMAjunkie.com was first to report the booking, which will be contested over three rounds. The UFC Fight Night event takes place at Rogers Arena.

Flyweight Title Shot Could Be at Stake for Jasudavicius

A native of Ontario, Canda, Jasudavicius earned her most significant victory to date at UFC 315 — a first-round submission of former strawweight queen Jessica Andrade. The Niagara Top Team member also holds a signifcant win over former bantamweight title challenger Mayra Bueno Silva during her current streak.

Fiorot had a 12-bout professional winning streak halted in her last outing, when she dropped a five-round verdict to reigning flyweight champion Valentina Shevchenko in the UFC 315 co-main event. The 35-year-old Frenchwoman has notable wins over the likes of Erin Blanchfiled, Rose Namajunas, Kaitlyn Cerminara, Jennifer Maia and Tabatha Ricci to her credit.
