Tyson Pedro is ready to quickly make waves in the boxing world.
The UFC veteran scored a seventh-round knockout over Taimoor Khan at the Nowhere to Run main event in his boxing debut Wednesday morning.
After the fight, Pedro called out Jake Paul.
“Man, anyone who gets me closer to that title – but as well, I wouldn’t mind getting Jake Paul back for the Tyson’s,” Pedro told Stan Sport post-fight.
It was Pedro’s first combat sports competition since retiring from mixed martial arts after his loss at UFC Vegas 87 this past March. He finished his MMA career with a 10-5 record.
It was Khan’s (15-1) first career loss.
