Bantamweight Adrian Yanez wowed UFC brass with the fifth-fastest stoppage win in DWCS history.
Yanez needed just 39 seconds to put away Brady Huang with a vicious combination of punches that forced intervention from referee Jason Herzog, who waved off the fight when Huang’s feet went out from under him.

Yanez came into the bout on a mission. After losing his father to stomach cancer, he was inspired to fight harder. And with an emphatic win, he made the best impression possible.
“Please help me quit my day job,” he told UFC execs cageside. “That was me on part-time. Make me full-time.”
Backstage, Yanez broke down as he spoke about his father’s influence in the fight.
“I just really hope he’s proud of me,” he said.
Yanez has won four straight with his DWCS win and likely punches his ticket to the UFC.
