Video: Dakota Ditcheva brutalizes Valentina Scatizzi with knees to win PFL Europe flyweight title

Dakota Ditcheva continues to impress.

On Friday at 3Arena in Dublin, Ditcheva faced Valentina Scatizzi in the PFL Europe flyweight championship, and the undefeated Muay Thai specialist delivered on all her promise, brutalizing Scatizzi with knees to score a first-round TKO.

Ditcheva entered the contest at 9-0 and as one of the most talked about prospects in the PFL, and it didn’t take long for her to show why. Right from the start of the fight, Ditcheva put it to Scatizzi, repeatedly getting into the Muay Thai clinch and launching knees into the Italian fighter’s face.

To her credit, Scatizzi refused to go down after several barrages of knees, but her face wore the damage, with her left eye swelling up grotesquely and blocking out her vision. That was enough for the ringside physician to call off the fight before action could resume in the second round.

The win moves Ditcheva to 10-0 professionally, earning her $100,000 and locking the English fighter into a spot in the PFL next season.
