Video: Sean Strickland Enters Cage, Attacks Winning Fighter at Tuff-N-Uff 145

Sean Strickland didn’t react well to being taunted while serving as a cornerman at an event in Las Vegas on Sunday.

As Luis Hernandez submits Miles Hunsinger with a guillotine choke 49 seconds into Round 2 of a middleweight bout at Tuff-N-Uff 145, he can be seen yelling and making gestures in the direction of his opponent’s corner, which included Strickland and Chris Curtis. Hernandez punctuates the victory with several crotch chops, and that may have been the final straw.

Shortly thereafter, Strickland and Curtis storm the cage and shove Hernandez into the fence. Strickland also appears to throw a couple of punches at Hernandez before being pulled away by an official. Hernandez is unfazed by the altercation, however, as he smiles and unleashes more crotch chops after being separated from Curtis and Strickland.

It’s unclear what type of punishment Strickland and Curtis might face, but if they do, it will likely be addressed at an upcoming Nevada State Athletic Commission meeting since the fight took place in Las Vegas.

Hernandez improved his professional mark to 6-0 with the submission of Hunsinger, who was competing for the first time since 2022. Strickland, meanwhile, last appeared at UFC 312, where he lost a unanimous decision to Dricus Du Plessis in a middleweight title rematch on Feb. 8.
