The UFC’s maiden voyage to Fight Island was eventful, to say the least.
Ahead of the promotion’s Abu Dhabi return, check out some of the best knockouts and submissions that took place at what turned out to be a home away from home for the UFC in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Featured in the above video are winning championship performances by Khabib Nurmagomedov, Israel Adesanya, Jan Blachowicz, and Deiveson Figueiredo, as well as some of the year’s best finishes from Joaquin Buckley, Ariane Lipski, Jiri Prochazka, and Cory Sandhagen, among others.
The UFC will soon be back on Fight Island with a trio of events in the span of seven days, beginning with UFC Fight Island 7 on Jan. 16, followed by UFC Fight Island 8 on Jan. 20, and UFC 257 on Jan. 23.
