Warlley Alves vs. Ramazan Emeev booked for UFC event on June 26

Welterweights Warlley Alves and Ramazan Emeev are set to collide at the upcoming UFC Fight Night card on June 26, multiple people with knowledge of the booking told MMA Fighting.

The UFC has yet to the location for the event. A heavyweight showdown between Ciryl Gane and Alexander Volkov will take the headlining spot that night.

Alves (14-4) is coming off a devastating first-round knockout over Mounir Lazzez in Abu Dhabi, stopping the Tunisia native with vicious kicks to the body to pocket an extra $50,000 for one of the “Performance of the Night” bonuses at UFC Fight Island 8.

Emeev (20-4), a former M-1 middleweight champion, kicked off his UFC career at 185 pounds with a win over Sam Alvey in 2017 before cutting down to 170 pounds. Emeev won four of five as as welterweight in the UFC and enters the bout on a two-fight winning streak over David Zawada and Niklas Stolze.
