Conor Benn and Chris Eubank Jr. had to be separated, yet again, ahead of their highly anticipated clash in the squared circle.
Benn and Eubank are set to fight in the main event of Fatal Fury on April 26 at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London. In their first face-off in February, Eubank slapped Benn in the face with an egg which caused chaos on stage. That moment was just a spark in the story of the two rivals, who were filming an interview on Piers Morgan Uncensored.
At one point, Benn nearly attacked Eubank, leading to another pull-apart. Check out video of the near-skirmish below, which was brought on by an argument about each other’s fathers.
Eubank was fined over $100,000 for the egg slap incident ahead of the bout between second-generation pugilists, whose fathers had quite their own rivalry nearly three decades prior.
The matchup was originally booked for 2022 before Benn was scratched after a positive drug test — which eventually was cleared up leading to his suspension being lifted.
