Watch INSANE jumping spinning back kick Knockout at XFC 52

Jaron Lathrop just had the greatest start to an MMA career you could ever ask for.

On Friday night, Xtreme Fighting Championship 52 took place at Xtreme Arena in Iowa City, Iowa. While the seven-fight card was mostly filled with longtime MMA veterans, it was a flyweight making his professional debut who stole the show with one of the greatest knockouts you’ll ever see.

Lathrop faced Yevgeni Shinkarevsky in a main card bout and the American flyweight stole the show by finishing Shinkarevsky with a jumping spinning back kick in the first round. The kick was extremely similar to Joaquin Buckley’s famous “Ninja Kick” against Impa Kasanganay that earned Knockout of the Year honors in 2020, with Shinkarevsky catching a body kick from Lathrop only for “Protect Ya Neck” to unleash his devastating spinning attack out of nowhere.

Check out the highlight below.

Given how impressive this highlight is, Lathrop could be looking at Knockout of the Year honors this year, and certainly put himself on the radar of larger MMA promoters with such a performance.
