Watch Jamall Emmers flatten Gabriel Miranda with brutal first-round knockout

Jamall Emmers is not a man to be trifled with.

On Saturday, Emmers took on Gabriel Miranda in a prelim featherweight bout at UFC Mexico. It was Emmers’s first fight in a year but “Pretty Boy” didn’t show any signs of rust, flattening Miranda with a devastating right hand in the first round.

Emmers and Miranda wasted no time getting down to business, attacking each other as soon as the opening bell rang, with Miranda getting an early takedown. But after some work, Emmers found his way back to the feet and proceeded to put it on Miranda, landing seemingly every strike he threw. With just over a minute left in the opening round, Emmers got Miranda up against the lowered the boom with a nasty right hand that sent Miranda to the canvas and the shadow realm.

Emmers’s knockout was so good that he also stunned octagon announcer Bruce Buffer, who mistakenly announced Miranda as the winner in an amusing error.

The win moved Emmers to 4-4 in the UFC, while Miranda dropped to 1-3.
