Wimp-2-Warrior Adds 3 More High Profile Gyms Including Chris Weidman and Gilbert Melendez’s Facilities

Wimp-2-Warrior is dedicated to showing everybody the benefits of a mixed martial arts training regimen and the program has just added three more high profile gyms to its impressive roster of participating facilities.

After teaming up with Firas Zahabi and Tri-Star last month, Wimp-2-Warrior has now added LAW MMA (Ray Longo and Chris Weidman’s facility in New York), El Nino Training Center (owned by UFC title contender Gilbert Melendez) as well as Marcus Kowal’s Systems Training Centers based out of Los Angeles.

The goal of Wimp-2-Warrior is taking everyday people and putting them through a 22 week course of training in hopes of transforming them physically and mentally via a mixed martial arts regimen. Often times competitors have even gone onto compete in an amateur matchup against other athletes chosen from the Wimp-2-Warrior program

“I am excited to be working with the Wimp 2 Warrior program. I love the opportunity it gives everyday people to come and train martial arts. I am excited for myself and my gym to change these people’s lives forever,” Weidman said about partnering with the program.

Men and women of all ages and fitness are encouraged to try Wimp-2-Warrior with signups available at the Wimp2Warrior website with designs on tryouts taking place in July with the program then expected to kick off in September.

Tryouts for the Los Angeles based Systems Training Center will take place multiple times in June at the Encino and Hawthorne based locations.
