Former British reality TV star Aaron Chalmers will make his return to the cage when he meets Austin Clem in a featured bout at Bellator Dublin on Feb. 22.
Promotion officials confirmed the welterweight contest on Monday along with several other preliminary matchups: Oliver Enkamp vs. Lewis Long at welterweight; Will Fleury vs. Justin Moore at middleweight; Richie Smullen vs. Ranjeet Baria at featherweight; Danni Neilan vs. Chiara Penco at strawweight and Blaine O’Driscoll vs. Ezzoubair Bouarsa at flyweight.
Bellator Dublin takes place at 3Arena and is headlined by a bantamweight tilt pitting James Gallagher against Cal Ellenor.
A former reality star on MTV’s “Geordie Shore,” Chalmers has won five of his first six professional bouts. The 32-year-old suffered his first career defeat via submission against Corey Browning at Bellator Newcastle this past February but rebounded to tap out Fred Freeman in his most recent appearance at Bellator 223 on June 22. All of “The Joker’s” five victories have ended inside the distance.
Missouri’s Clem has been victorious in three of his four professional outings thus far and is coming off back-to-back submission triumphs on the regional scene.
