Two Bouts Confirmed for UFC Fight Night 166 in Raleigh on Jan. 25

Two more contests have been confirmed for UFC Fight Night 166 in Raleigh, N.C., as Jordan Espinosa will face Alex Perez at flyweight, while Hannah Cifers will square off against Brianna Van Buren at strawweight.

The Las Vegas-based promotion recently announced the pairings. UFC Fight Night 166 takes place at PNC Arena on Jan. 25 and is headlined by a heavyweight showdown between Junior dos Santos and Curtis Blaydes. In the co-main event, Frankie Edgar will make his bantamweight debut against surging contender Cory Sandhagen. The card will air on ESPN+.

Espinosa had a five-bout winning streak snapped in his last appearance when he was submitted by Matt Schnell in the opening stanza at UFC on ESPN 5. Perez, meanwhile, has been victorious in four of his five Octagon appearances and is coming off a three-round verdict over Mark De La Rosa at UFC on ESPN 2.

After losing her promotional debut to Maycee Barber, Cifers has rebounded to post back-to-back victories against Polyana Viana and Jodie Esquibel in UFC competition. A former Invicta FC strawweight queen, Van Buren debuted in the Octagon with a unanimous decision win over Livinha Souza at UFC Fight Night 155 on July 13.
