Video: Adrian Yanez says ‘anyone can and will get it’ following highlight reel KO at UFC Vegas 12

To say Adrian Yanez had a successful octagon debut would be an understatement.

In his first fight since earning a contract on Dana White’s Contender Series, Yanez took on Victor Rodriguez during the preliminary card at UFC Vegas 12. Less than three minutes into the bantamweight contest, Yanez landed a ferocious head kick to put Rodriguez away and earned a Performance of the Night bonus in the process.

Now that he’s had his taste of the bright lights, Yanez is excited to get back at it as soon as possible.

The 26-year-old bantamweight joined MMA Fighting’s Mike Heck to recap the memorable night at the UFC APEX, talks sharing the card with Anderson Silva in what was being billed as his final UFC appearance, how he graded his performance, getting a bonus alongside Miles Johns—the last man to defeat him—being open to fighting anybody in the bantamweight division, the importance of mental health and more.
