Henry Cejudo isn’t riding quietly off into the sunset.

The former Olympic gold medalist will headline Real American Freestyle 6 on Feb. 28 at Mullett Arena in Tempe, Arizona. An opponent for Cejudo has yet to be confirmed. RAF 6 will air on Fox Nation and is also expected to include Clay Guida against an as yet to be named opponent in the co-main event.

Cejudo announced his retirement from mixed martial arts following a unanimous decision loss to Payton Talbott at UFC 323 on Dec. 6. The former two-division champion went 0-4 in the Octagon after returning from his first retirement, which occurred following a second-round stoppage of Dominick Cruz in at bantamweight title bout at UFC 249. In addition to Talbott, Cejudo also fell to the likes of Aljamain Sterling, Merab Dvalishvili and Yadong Song during his second UFC stint.

Back to His Roots

Before he transitioned to MMA, Cejudo won the Olympic gold medal in freestyle wrestling in 2008 at 21 years old. Cejudo hasn’t competed in wrestling since 2015. RAF, which held its debut event in 2025, has already booked several MMA notables with wrestling backgrounds at its events, including the likes of Bo Nickal, Yoel Romero, Belal Muhammad and Colby Covington, among others.
