Alex Oliveira meets Neil Magny at UFC Sao Paulo

Welterweight talents Alex Oliveira and Neil Magny will collide in Sao Paulo, Brazil, sources confirmed following a report by Combate. UFC Sao Paulo takes place at the Ibirapuera gymnasium on Sept. 22.

The promotion has yet to announce the main event for Fight Night card in Brazil.

Magny (21-6) stopped Craig White in the first round in his most recent appearance in the Octagon in May, five months after his decision victory over former interim champion Carlos Condit. Magny also holds wins over the likes of Johnny Hendricks, Hector Lombard and Kelvin Gastelum.

Oliveira (18-5-1, 2 no-contest) scored the biggest victory of his MMA career in April, submitting Condit with a guillotine choke in the co-main event of UFC on FOX 29. “Cowboy” has only lost two of his last 11 bouts in the UFC.
