Pereira recently uploaded a video where he pranks “Money Moicano” over a call. Carneiro seemingly did an interview with Pereira’s longtime coach and mentor, Glover Texeira. Pereira accused Carneiro of turning Texeira against him. Pereira put on a serious tone, asking Carneiro for a straight talk, while Texeira and fellow coach Plinio Cruz laughed. Carneiro kept denying the allegations and laughed out of relief when Pereira told him it was a prank.

Pereira: You did the interview with Glover. And I thought you were messed up. You know? The questions you asked there. I know you’re still learning. I’m a guy who speaks the truth. After this interview, Glover changed with me. You want to put us against each other.
Carneiro: No, no, I doubt it man. Does he hit you or do you hit him in training? You have to respect the master.
Pereira: No man, I’m also a master in this area. There are two masters.
Carneiro: How can the guy change after an interview?
Pereira: It’s bulls—t. You’re not in Las Vegas right? On day I’ll find you here man.
Carneiro: Man, you don’t have to worry about me.
Pereira: You keep putting each other against each other. I don’t like these things man.
Carneiro: Well, okay, you have your opinion. I didn’t ask anything to embarrass you or Glover.
Pereira:When we meet we’ll have a straight talk.
Carneiro: Okay.
Pereira: I’m kidding man. I’m with Glover here. I’m with my team here.
Carneiro: (Laughs) You wanna screw me over on a Sunday?
After going on an impressive four-fight winning streak, “Money Moicano” has now dropped two consecutive outings against Islam Makhachev and Beneil Dariush. Meanwhile, Pereira will try to regain his light heavyweight title in a rematch against Magomed Ankalaev at Noche UFC on Oct. 4 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. “Poatan” won his title and defended it thrice within a year before losing to Ankalaev.
