Alexa Grasso vs. Marina Rodriguez rescheduled for UFC on ESPN 2

An intriguing strawweight matchup has been set for UFC on ESPN 2 in Philadelphia.

Alex Grasso (10-2) will square off with Marina Rodriguez (10-0-1) on the UFC’s second card on ESPN, scheduled for March 30 at the Wachovia Center. The company announced the bout on Thursday.

The fight was originally scheduled for ESPN Brazil on Feb. 2, but was postponed due to a Rodriguez hand injury.

Grasso has alternated wins and losses in putting together a 2-2 record since joining the UFC as an unbeaten prospect in 2016. Her most recent fight was a first-round submission loss to Tatiana Suarez last May.

Rodriguez (10-0-1) earned her spot in the UFC over the summer on the Brazilian version of Contender Series with a first round TKO of Maria Oliveira, then fought to a majority draw with Randa Markos in September.
