Ask and you shall receive.

Alexander Hernandez and Thiago Moises called each other out after their most recent fights on Oct. 31, and the UFC has paired the lightweights up for its upcoming Fight Night show on Feb. 27, multiple people with knowledge of the booking told MMA Fighting. MMA Junkie first reported the news.

Hernandez (12-3) defeated Chris Gruetzemacher that night, bouncing back to the win column with a first-round knockout in Las Vegas. “The Great” holds a 4-2 octagon record with victories over Beneil Dariush, Olivier Aubin-Mercier and Francisco Trinaldo.

Moises (14-4) is looking to keep the momentum going after consecutive wins over longtime MMA veterans Michael Johnson and Bobby Green. The former RFA titleholder, who joined the UFC through Dana White’s Contender Series in 2018, was victorious in three of five since.

The UFC Fight Night show will go down at Las Vegas’s UFC APEX and feature light heavyweights Dominick Reyes and Jiri Prochazka in the headlining attraction.
