A bout pitting Legacy Fighting Alliance champion Andrea Lee against Kalindra Faria is a late addition to next week’s UFC 216 card.
Lee confirmed the pairing following an initial report from MMAFighting.com. UFC 216 takes place at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas on Oct. 7 and is headlined by an interim lightweight title bout between Tony Ferguson and Kevin Lee.
Much respect to Kalindra. I never duck anyone but I know my work is cut out for me here. #respect. https://t.co/dU6FBUbayS

Lee enters the matchup on a four-fight winning streak. Most recently, “KGB” submitted Jamie Thorton in the second round at LFA 23 on Sept. 22. The 28-year-old Shreveport, La., native is 8-2 as a professional overall, with six triumphs coming inside the distance.
Faria, meanwhile, has competed for a number of organizations during her career, including Titan FC, KSW and World Series of Fighting. The 31-year-old Sao Paulo native is coming off a five-round verdict over Carina Damm to claim the Titan FC bantamweight title in September 2016. Faria is 18-5-1 over the course of her pro tenure.
