This is the Bellator Paris live blog for Patchy Mix vs. Magomed Magomedov 2, the bantamweight championship headliner for Friday’s card at the Accor Arena in Paris, France.
The bout serves as a rematch from their December 2022 meeting at Bellator 289, where Mix submitted Magomedov in the second round.
Since their first meeting, Mix went on to capture the interim Bellator bantamweight title after winning the division’s grand prix tournament in 2023, defeating Raufeon Stots with a vicious knee to win the title and $1 million prize. Mix then submitted Sergio Pettis in the second round at November’s Bellator 301 event to become the undisputed champion.
Magomedov enters the bout with a 2-2 record in his past four outings, which includes a decision loss to Stots in August 2021. The 32-year-old did bounce back from his lopsided loss to Mix with a stoppage win over Danny Sabatello at Bellator vs. RIZIN 2 this past July.
