Bobby Green is going to squeeze in one more fight before year’s end.
The longtime Octagon veteran will lock horns with Lance Gibson in a 160-pound catchweight affair at UFC Vegas 112 on Saturday. Eurosport was first to report the bout, and both Green and Gibson have since confirmed the booking on social media. UFC Vegas 112 — also known as UFC on ESPN 73 — takes place at the UFC Apex in Las Vegas and is headlined by a flyweight duel pitting Brandon Royval against Manel Kape.
Return of the King
Green, who now goes by “King Green,” has 27 Octagon appearances to his credit since his promotional debut in 2013. The 39-year-old California native is coming off a first-round KO loss to Mauricio Ruffy at UFC 313 this past March — his second consecutive defeat and third loss in his last four outings overall.
A six-time Bellator MMA veteran, Gibson will be back in action for the first time since November 2024, when he scored a first-round submission over R.J. Hoyt on the regional circuit. The 30-year-old Canadian has been victorious in nine of 10 professional outings, with his lone loss coming to Vladimir Tokov at Bellator 293 in March 2023.
