Cracker Barrel recently introduced a new text-only logo, which faced backlash from longtime fans of the restaurant chain. The new logo removed the image of a man leaning over a barrel. Mitchell considers the brand “gayed out” after the logo change. “Thug Nasty” went off on Cracker Barrel CEO Julie Felss Masino, deeming her unfit to run a kitchen, let alone a company. The UFC fighter advised fans to get a wife and stick to home-cooked meals.
“I found out Cracker Barrel got gayed out,” Mitchell said on Instagram. “…I seen this coming OK, because everybody’s getting gayed out. Even the best places are getting gayed out. I think some feminist woman took over the restaurant, and now she’s just changing it how she likes. Hell, the woman ain’t even fit to run the kitchen, let alone run the whole company… My wife’s pancakes are better. I don’t care about Cracker Barrel no more… You all need to wife up and make kids because Cracker Barrel is going to s—t.”
Mitchell Not Alone in Cracker Barrel Criticism
A well-known flat earther, Mitchell is known for expressing his unabashed and controversial opinions on a variety of topics. However, Mitchell is not alone in his criticism of the Cracker Barrel logo change. CEO Masino has faced severe backlash for removing “Uncle Herschel” or “Old Timer” from the logo after nearly fifty years.
Mitchell dropped to bantamweight earlier this year after alternating between wins and losses since 2022. The 30-year-old returned to the win column with a unanimous decision win over Said Nurmagomedov last month.
