There were no issues at weigh-ins for Week 2 of Dana White’s
Contender Series, as all 10 competitors hit their contracted marks
on the scales.
Dana White’s Contender Series takes place at the UFC Apex in Las
Vegas on Tuesday and streams on ESPN+ beginning at 8 p.m. ET/5 p.m.
PT. The featured bout is a middleweight showdown pitting Joseph
Pyfer (185.5 pounds) against Dustin
Stoltzfus (184.5)
A four-time Ring of Combat competitor, Pyfer has been victorious in
seven of his first eight professional appearances. Most recently,
the 23-year-old Team Balance member scored a second-round TKO of
Chase
Gamble at ROC 71 on Feb. 21.
Stolzfus, meanwhile, has tasted defeated just once in 13 outings.
Also a Pennsylvania native, the 28-year-old enters the Contender
Series on a nine-fight winning streak in which he has finished six
of his opponents.
