Darren Till ‘1 Million Percent’ Confident He Will Fight Again in 2019

Darren Till is on a two-fight losing streak and coming off of a knockout loss to Jorge Masvidal at UFC London back in March. But, the Englishman promises he will return to the Octagon by year’s end and right the wrong of his last two fights.

“Yeah definitely – 1 million percent,” Till said to Fighters Only regarding his plans to fight again in 2019.

Last week, Dana White said he rushed the Englishman too soon, but Till doesn’t believe that to be true. Rather, “The Gorilla” believes he just wasn’t fully committed in his fight against Tyron Woodley which costed him a chance at winning the UFC title.

“I think I was wrong to myself, to my craft,” Till said. “I wasn’t fully committed. For the Woodley fight in particular, that was one fight where I have to say I was in some condition. I trained like a monster. The better guy won that night.”

Exactly when Till will return to the Octagon is unknown, but it appears it will be in the coming months. Whether it will be at welterweight or middleweight is up in the air, too. For now, “The Gorilla” is back in the gym training but is being careful on what he does as he is still recovering from his most recent knockout loss.
