Most notable of those is a women’s bantamweight pairing pitting former champion Raquel Pennington against Norma Dumont. Additionally, Alice Pereira will become the youngest female fighter in UFC history when she faces Montserrat Rendon at bantamweight. Ag.Fight was first to report that Pennington vs. Dumont was in the works, while MMAjunkie.com confirmed Pereira vs. Rendon after the 19-year-old fighter announced the booking on Instagram.

Noche UFC — also known as UFC Fight Night 259 — takes place at Frost Bank Center in San Antonio and is headlined by a featherweight scrap pitting Diego Lopes against Jean Silva.
Pennington will return to action for the first time since UFC 307, when she relinquished the 135-pound strap in a contentious split-decision loss to Julianna Pena on Oct. 5. That snapped a six-bout promotional winning streak for “Rocky,” who owns notable triumphs over the likes of Mayra Bueno Silva, Ketlen Vieira, Macy Chiasson, Irene Aldana, Miesha Tate and Jessica Andrade.
Dumont, who previously competed at 145 pounds, will take a five-bout winning streak into the showdown with Pennington. The 34-year-old Brazilian has gone the distance in all of those victories, including triumphs over Aldana and Germaine de Randamie last year.
’Golden Girl’ to Make Octagon Debut at 19
Known as “Golden Girl,” Pereira has compiled a 6-0 mark at just 19 years old. She finished her first five professional outings inside of two rounds before taking a five-round verdict against Samara Santos in a title bout at Cage Masters Fighting Championship this past December.
Mexico’s Rendon was victorious in her first six pro appearances before falling to Darya Zheleznyakova via unanimous decision in her most recent outing at UFC on ESPN 53 this past March. “Monster” debuted in the Octagon with a split-decision win over Tamires Vidal at UFC Fight Night 228 in September 2023.
