A featherweight bout between Mike Grundy and Movsar Evloev is set for UFC Shenzhen on Aug. 31, according to both fighters social media.
The Englishman Grundy is coming off of his Ultimate Fighting Championship debut, where he beat Nad Narimani by TKO at UFC London in March. The 32-year-old has previously fought in promotions like BAMMA, ICE Fighting Championship, and ACB, among others. He is also on a nine-fight winning streak heading into this bout.
Evolev, 25, is 11-0 as a pro and coming off a promotional debut, where he beat Sung Woo Choi by decision at UFC St. Petersburg on April 20. The Russian previously fought in M-1, where he was the bantamweight champion before moving up in weight for his Octagon debut.
UFC Shenzhen goes down on Aug. 31 and is headlined by a strawweight title fight between Jessica Andrade and Weili Zhang.
