James Vick Expected to Face Paul Felder at UFC Fight Night in Boise

A battle between top 15 lightweights is expected to take place on July 14 when James Vick takes on Paul Felder as part of the UFC Fight Night card in Boise, Idaho.

Sources close to the contest confirmed the news on Thursday. UFC officials have not announced the bout as of yet.

Felder was originally expected to fight at UFC 223 in April but he lost his opponent when Al Iaquinta was pulled to face Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event.

Now Felder will make his return to action in July as he rides a three fight win streak with all of his recent victories coming by way of knockout or TKO.

As for Vick, he’s won his last four fights in a row with an overall record of 9-1 in the UFC since joining the promotion by way of “The Ultimate Fighter”. Vick has been anxiously awaiting the chance to face a top 15 fighter and now he’ll get his wish with Felder in July.

The matchup between Felder and Vick joins a growing line up headed to Boise with former heavyweight champion Junior dos Santos expected to face Blagoy Ivanov in the main event.
