Jones and Cormier share one of the greatest rivalries in UFC history, which has never lost its bitterness. Jones and Cormier continue to trade occasional barbs on social media, years after they last shared the Octagon. Cormier recently took a dig at Jones for being in Russia during Thanksgiving instead of spending time with his family. “Bones” responded, claiming to live rent-free in Cormier’s head.

The feud continues as Jones has now dragged in Nurmagomedov, Cormier’s longtime friend and ally. Jones offered to gift Nurmagomedov’s digital papakha to Cormier to placate him. Jones is referring to Nurmagomedov’s recent collaboration with Telegram to sell digital versions of his iconic headgear.
The Rivalry Lives On
“Maybe I should send one of those Khabib gifts to [Cormier] so he can actually enjoy his holiday instead of thinking about me all the time,” Jones wrote on X.

Telegram founder, Pavel Durov, responded that he “might know a guy.” Jones then asked Durov for a telegram account, and the CEO happily obliged.
