Karl Roberson vs. Dalcha Lungiambula off UFC 256 due to positive COVID-19 test

A positive COVID-19 test has pushed Karl Roberson and Dalcha Lungiambula’s fight back.

MMA Fighting confirmed with people with knowledge of the change that the Roberson vs. Lungiambula middleweight bout will not take place at this Saturday’s UFC 256 card after Roberson tested positive for COVID-19.

The news was first broken by Lungiambula via Twitter.

Lungiambula (10-2) seeks to improve on his 1-1 UFC record. He beat Dequan Townsend by third-round TKO in his UFC debut before falling to Magomed Ankalev in his next fight.
