A positive COVID-19 test has pushed Karl Roberson and Dalcha Lungiambula’s fight back.
MMA Fighting confirmed with people with knowledge of the change that the Roberson vs. Lungiambula middleweight bout will not take place at this Saturday’s UFC 256 card after Roberson tested positive for COVID-19.
The news was first broken by Lungiambula via Twitter.

According to Lungiambula, the bout has been rescheduled for a week later at UFC Vegas 17, but a source told MMA Fighting that the re-booking is not yet official.
Roberson (9-3) is hoping to close out his year with a win after losing a grudge match against Marvin Vettori in June. His UFC record fell to 4-3. The 2017 Contender Series signing hold’s UFC wins over Roman Kopylov, Wellington Turman, Jack Marshman, and Darren Stewart.
Lungiambula (10-2) seeks to improve on his 1-1 UFC record. He beat Dequan Townsend by third-round TKO in his UFC debut before falling to Magomed Ankalev in his next fight.
