Bautista Shares ‘Best-Case Scenario’ at UFC 321

“I’m gonna go out there and try to finish him in the first round,” Bautista told the UFC. “I think that’s the best-case scenario. Get that done and get to go home and make some money and eat some good food. Can’t wait to go out there and get the job done. So Umar, I’ll see you over there brother.”

Unbeaten since 2021 and riding an eight-fight winning streak, Bautista is 10-2 in the UFC. The MMA Lab representative has walked through fierce competition in Da’Mon Blackshear, Ricky Simon, Jose Aldo and most recently, former Bellator MMA champ Patrick Mix

Meanwhile, Nurmagomedov is coming off his lone professional loss in a failed title bid against Merab Dvalishvili. Nurmagomedov has six UFC wins to his name, over the likes of Raoni Barcelos, Bekzat Almakhan and Cory Sandhagen. While Nurmagomedov finished three of his six wins, Bautista has finished four of his 10.
