Maryna Moroz out with visa issues, Montana De La Rosa now faces Viviane Araujo at Sept. 5 UFC card

Montana De La Rosa has a new opponent for her return to the octagon.

With Maryna Moroz unable to enter the United States due to visa issues, Viviane Araujo has agreed to step in as a replacement on Sept. 5, multiple sources confirmed to MMA Fighting following a report from Combate.

Araujo (8-2) was originally booked to meet Jennifer Maia in June and then in August, but was then forced out of the bout after testing positive for COVID-19. “Vivi” is looking to get back on track after losing a decision to Jessica Eye in December.

De La Rosa (11-5) most fought in February, scoring a decision victory over Mara Romero Borella at UFC Rio Rancho. The 25-year-old prospect racked up a 4-1 record in the company since competing at the 26th season of The Ultimate Fighter reality show in 2017.

The Fight Night card is headlined by heavyweights Alistair Overeem and Augusto Sakai.
