One Championship has big plans for its 100th event.
The Singapore-based promotion announced on Monday that One “Century” will feature two 11-bout cards at the Ryōgoku Kokugikan in Tokyo on Oct. 13. According to a release, the first event will be broadcast live on TNT in the United States, while the second offering will be broadcast globally “via the world’s largest television networks.”
The first card, which is expected to air live on TNT, is headlined by a women’s atomweight title bout between Angela Lee and Jingnan Xiong. The event will also feature the flyweight grand prix final between ex-UFC champ Demetrious Johnson and Danny Kingad as well as the lightweight tournament championship bout pitting former UFC titlist Eddie Alvarez against Saygid Guseyn Arslanaliev.
The second part of the doubleheader is highlighted by Aung La N Sang’s light heavyweight title defense against reigning heavyweight king Brandon Vera. The bantamweight crown will also be on the line when Bibiano Fernandes faces Kevin Belingon. That event will also include a series of bouts between champions from the Shooto and Pancrase organizations.
The full lineup for both events of the twin bill can be viewed here.
