PFL Africa 2 Weigh-in Results: 1 Quarterfinal Changed After Both Fighters Heavy

The Professional Fighters League is returning to Africa for its second event, which is now official after the PFL Africa 2 weigh-ins.

Headlining the 10-fight card, which features the quarterfinals of the welterweight and featherweight tournaments, is a 145-pound fight between Patrick Ocheme and Mohamed Camara. Both main eventers hit their marks, so that three-round fight will go ahead as planned. All other fighters made weight with the exception of Elbert Lukas Steyn and Abderrahman Errachidy, who were scheduled to fight in a featherweight quarterfinal. Since both men missed weight by 2 pounds, they’ve been moved to a catchweight fight and replaced by alternates Abdoul Razac Sankara and Shadrick Dju Yemba.

Ocheme (6-1) enters the main event on a four-fight winning streak in the Extreme Fighting Championship. A constant finisher, “Star Boi” has won his last three fights via knockout. Meanwhile, Camara (5-2-1) hasn’t won a fight since 2022. A loss to Jaures Dea Gomez and then a split draw against Ali Yazbeck has kept the 33-year-old from getting his hand raised.

PFL Africa 2 will air live on the PFL app starting at 12 p.m. ET/9 a.m. PT.
