PFL Madrid weigh-in results: Middleweight title fight set

A Middleweight World Title Fight headlines PFL Madrid: Tune in LIVE, Friday, March 20 at 12 p.m. ET.
The Professional Fighters League‘s middleweight championship will be on the line tomorrow, as the PFL Madrid card is now official following the weigh-ins.

The 11-fight card will be headlined by middleweight champion Costello van Steenis, looking to defend his belt against Fabian Edwards. Both men successfully made weight for the five-round fight. Two competitors came in heavy for the PFL’s first European event of 2026: Kevin Cordero (136.6), who clocked in .6 pounds above the bantamweight limit ahead of his match with Luciano Pereira (134.5); and Mathys Duragrin (146.5), who eclipsed the featherweight cap by half a pound before facing Nacho Campos (146). It is currently unclear as to whether the heavy athletes will be fined, or if their bouts are in jeopardy.

Van Steenis (17-3) previously beat Edwards by split decision in 2020. Since their first fight, “The Spaniard’ has gone 4-1 and submitted Johnny Eblen to capture the PFL title. Van Steenis officially weighed 184.7 pounds for the fight.

Meanwhile, Edwards (16-4) is looking to avenge his previous defeat. “The Assassin” has won three fights in a row and is coming off a head kick KO of Dalton Rosta. Two losses to Eblen are the only blemishes on his record since 2022. The 32-year-old English fighter also weighed 184.7 pounds.

PFL Madrid will air live on ESPN+ on Friday starting at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
