McKee last appeared at PFL Cape Town, where he took a unanimous verdict over Akhmed Magomedov in a featherweight bout on July 19. “Mercenary” is 2-1 under the PFL banner overall, with a split-decision loss to Paul Hughes and a first-round submission victory against Clay Collard on his ledger.

Success in Two Divisions

The matchups against Hughes and Collard were part of a brief venture to 155 pounds for McKee. He went 4-1 at lightweight before returning to 145 pounds for the aforementioned victory over Magomedov.

The Team Bodyshop standout made his name as a featherweight in Bellator MMA, winning his first 18 bouts, including a first-round submission of Patricio Freire to claim 145-pound gold in July 2021. McKee moved to lightweight after relinquishing the strap to Freire in a rematch at Bellator 277 in April 2022. He owns other notable wins over the likes of Roberto Satoshi de Souza, Spike Carlyle, Sidney Outlaw, Darrion Caldwell and Pat Curran.
