Per the promotion on Thursday, five fights are official for PFL Nantes, also known as PFL 2025 Europe 3: Playoffs. The main attraction comes at 170 pounds between Abdoul Abdouraguimov (19-1, 1 NC) and the recently acquired Kevin Jousset (10-4). Additionally, the PFL Europe lightweight and bantamweight semifinals pairings will be on the Sept. 26 card in Nantes, France, at the Zenith Nantes Metropole.

Former two-division Ares champ Abdouraguimov joined the PFL in 2023, where he tapped out Brad Wheeler in a little over half a round. A pair of decisions on the PFL Europe 2024 slate propelled him into this marquee position in his home city. Winner of nine straight, the only career defeat for the Frenchman came against Jarrah Al-Silawi—in a rematch nearly six months after “Lazy King” took a split decision over Al-Silawi.
Abdouraguimov is elated to be competing in the city where he grew up, putting out a statement along with the PFL press release for these five bouts.
“PFL is coming home,” the Frenchman wrote. “After 21 professional fights, I can finally fight in front of my home crowd, where I grew up and learned this sport. And now, it’s at the Zenith Nantes Metropole that I’m going to do the next Lazy show. Grab a seat, some popcorn, and be good, but not [too good], because I’m here to entertain you on September 26th, let’s go!”
In addition to the welterweight showcase headliner the bantamweight and lightweight brackets should have their finalists at night’s end. At 155 pounds, Connor Hughes (11-2) comes to blows with Gino van Steenis (6-1). On the other side of their bracket is Claudio Pacella (6-2) vs. Aleksandrs Chizovs (11-3).
At bantamweight, Mahio Campanella (8-1) and Gustavo Oliveira (11-2) collide in a battle between two men who will not shy away from flashy striking exchanges. The winner of that contest will face the victor between Dean Garnett (13-3-1) and Jan Cieplowski (9-0).
