Longtime rivals Artem Lobov and Zubaira Tukhugov will seemingly get a chance to settle their differences inside the cage.
Lobov and Tukhugov will reportedly clash at an upcoming Professional Fighters League card in Dubai on Oct. 3. PFL has not revealed any information on an October 2025 card, But Lobov addressed the rumor on his X account:

“[Seven] years in the making! Time to get revenge!”
The rivalry between Lobov (13-15-1) and Tukhugov (20-6-1) is linked to the infamous feud between Conor McGregor and Khabib Nurmagomedov. Tukhugov was part of Nurmagomedov’s entourage that confronted Lobov at UFC 223 in Brooklyn in 2018. McGregor, then a friend of Lobov, flew down to Brooklyn in a private jet and threw a dolly at a bus carrying Nurmagomedov and other fighters.
Lobov and Tukhugov were even scheduled to fight in the Ultimate Fighting Championship. However, that matchup fell through as Tukhugov jumped the cage and got involved in a brawl after Nurmagomedov submitted McGregor at UFC 229. While the UFC wanted to release Tukhugov, Nurmagomedov urged the promotion to penalize his teammate instead.
Lobov hasn’t fought since 2018 and was released by the UFC in 2019 while on a three-fight slump. Lobov has since had a falling out with McGregor over the earnings of Proper 12 Whiskey, which the Russian claims to have had a hand in making.
Meanwhile, Tukhugov was released from his UFC contract after a split decision loss against Elves Brenner in 2023 and hasn’t fought since.
