“Thug Rose” is stepping up her endorsement game.
Strawweight champion Rose Namajunas announced Wednesday that she has signed her own deal with Reebok, the official apparel sponsor of the UFC.
Though every fighter in the UFC is required to wear Reebok during fight week and on the walk to the Octagon, only a handful have at one point or another been signed to individual sponsorship deals, including the likes of Conor McGregor, Ronda Rousey, Paige VanZant, Chris Weidman, Joanna Jedrzejczyk, and Sage Northcutt.
Namajunas’s post includes a graphic with the phrase, “Welcome to Team Thug Rose”.
Next up for Namajunas, she defends her strawweight championship against Jessica Andrade at UFC 237 on May 11 in Rio de Janeiro.
