LAS VEGAS – After upsetting surging favorite Maycee Barber at UFC 246, Roxanne Modafferi shed light on her mentality of being a consummate underdog. The veteran said she was confused when she saw the referee call for a doctor to check Barber’s knee and said it was the first time she knew her opponent was injured. “The Happy Warrior” said she only unleashes her dark side in the Octagon, but remains a “good Jedi” outside of competition.
