Combate Americas is heading to Lake Tahoe on Aug. 23 with two title fights headlining the card. On Monday, the promotion announced seven more bouts for the event.
In one featured bout, Bellator alum Erick Sanchez is taking on Jose Luis Verdugo at lightweight. The Team Alpha Male product is coming off of a decision win over Alex Velasco in the main event of Combate Americas Stockton. He is 9-4 as a pro and will make his fourth appearance in Combate Americas. “Chelis” meanwhile, is coming off of a decision win over Allen Martin to snap his three-fight losing streak.
Also on the main card will be Maria Paula Buzaglo, who will take on Felisha Magallan. The other main card fight announced was a bantamweight scrap between Marilia Fanta and Chelsea Chandler, both making their promotional debuts.
The promotion also announced four undercard bouts: Brandon Bettancourt vs. Ramos Cruz at flyweight; J.J. Torres vs. Cole Jordan at middleweight; Aaron Armijo vs. Owen Craugh at welterweight and Boostayre Nefarios vs. Tyler Cowan at featherweight.
Combate Americas: Lake Tahoe goes down on Aug. 23 at Harveys in Lake Tahoe and airs live on Dazn beginning at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT.
