Steven Peterson vs. Martin Bravo, Kyle Nelson vs. Marco Polo Reyes Set for UFC Mexico City

The Octagon is touching down in Mexico City on Sept. 21, and the UFC continues to add fights for the card.

Added to the card is a featherweight scrap between Steven Peterson and Martin Bravo. “Ocho” is coming off of a decision loss to Alex Caceres at UFC on ESPN 4, and before that, he lost by decision to Luis Pena at UFC Nashville in a catchweight fight after his opponent missed weight. Currently, the Fortis MMA product is 1-3 inside the Octagon. Mexico’s Bravo, meanwhile, is 1-2 in the UFC and is also coming off of a decision loss to Caceres. “Toro” last fought in July 2016.

The other recently-announced fight is a lightweight bout between Canadian Kyle Nelson and Mexico’s Marco Polo Reyes. Nelson is 0-2 in the promotion after stepping in on short notice at UFC 231, where he lost to Diego Ferreira. Following that, he lost by submission to Matt Sayles. “El Toro” is also on a two-fight losing skid after losing by TKO to Damir Hadzovic and Drew Dober.

UFC Mexico City goes down on Sept. 21 and is expected to be headlined by a featherweight tilt between Yair Rodriguez against Jeremy Stephens.
