The PFL Europe 3 card was initially supposed to feature welterweight showdown between Abdoul Abdouraguimov and Kevin Jousset. However, “The Lazy King” has withdrawn from the card due to “personal reasons,” according to a release from the promotion. As a result, the originally scheduled co-main event between Amin Ayoub and Donovan Desmae has been elevated to the evening’s headliner.

New Co-Main Added to PFL Europe 3
Additionally, the PFL has added a light heavyweight clash between Boris Mbarga Atangana and Jhony Gregory to the card. That bout will now serve as the co-main event. PFL Europe 3 takes place at Zenith Nantes Metrople in Nantes, France, and also features semifinal matchups at bantamweight and lightweight. The card airs via the PFL App in the United States and on DAZA in France, the UK and Ireland.
Ayoub has compiled a 23-6-1 mark since beginning his professional tenure in 2014. The former Brave Combat Federation lightweight champion will enter his PFL debut on a seven-bout winning streak. In addition to Brave CF, “The Fierceness” has competed for notable organizations such as KSW, Ares and UAE Warriors.
Belgium’s Desmae ended his 2024 campaign with back-to-back triumphs. The 33-year-old is well traveled on the European regional scene and has enjoyed stints in promotions such as KSW and Cage Warriors while putting together a 19-10 career record.
Atangana improved to 6-0 as a professional after scoring a 56-second TKO of Bruno Santos in his PFL debut on July 5. The Belgium-based fighter has finished all of his victories inside the distance.
Gregory will make his first PFL foray after compiling a 10-3 mark on the regional circuit. The Brazilian is currently in the midst of a three-bout finishing streak.
