Three more fights have been announced for the UFC Singapore card, including a lightweight scrap between Michael Johnson vs. Steven Ray.
Johnson will return to 155 pounds after making his previous four Octagon appearances at featherweight. He went 2-2 at 145 pounds with wins over Andre Fili and Artem Lobov and losses against Darren Elkins and Josh Emmett. Ray, meanwhile, is coming off of a knockout loss to Leonardo Santos at UFC Fight Night 153 in June. He is currently 6-4 inside the Octagon.
Meanwhile, in the heavyweight division, “TUF 28 “contestant Maurice Greene will lock horns with Sergei Pavlovich. Greene is 3-0 in the UFC with victories over Michel Batista, Jeff Hughes and Junior Albini. Pavlovich got his first promotional triumph with a knockout of Marcelo Golm earlier this year at UFC Fight Night 149. In his debut he suffered a TKO loss to Alistair Overeem at UFC Fight Night 141.
Ciryl Gane will battle with Don’Tale Mayes in another heavyweight bout on the card. Gane is 4-0 and coming off of a very impressive Octagon debut, where he submitted Raphael Pessoa in the first round at UFC Uruguay. Mayes, meanwhile, earned a UFC contract on Season 3, Episode 4 on the Contender Series with a TKO of Ricardo Prasel. It was his third time on the Contender Series.
UFC Singapore will air in its entirety on ESPN+ on Oct. 26 and is headlined by a welterweight bout between Ben Askren and Demian Maia.
