The UFC 320 pay-per-view card has a new addition.
The Las Vegas-based promotion announced on Saturday that Josh Emmett will take on Youssef Zalal in a featured featherweight bout on Oct. 4 at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. UFC 320 is headlined by a light heavyweight title rematch between Magomed Ankalaev and Alex Pereira, while Merab Dvalishvili will defend the bantamweight crown against Cory Sandhagen in the evening’s co-main event.
Emmett returned to action following nearly a year-and-a-half hiatus at UFC on ESPN 65, where he dropped a five-round verdict against Lerone Murphy this past April. The 40-year-old Team Alpha Male representative has lost three of his last four Octagon appearances. He owns notable wins over the likes of Bryce Mitchell, Calvin Kattar, Dan Ige, Shane Burgos and Michael Johnson.
Zalal is building momentum during his second UFC stint, winning his last four promotional outings. Most recently, “The Moroccan Devil” defeated Kattar via unanimous decision at UFC Fight Night 251 on Feb. 15.
